The Hermes runway show for Spring is looking tight. They put a lot of focus on the menswear styled womenswear, and it looks really slick. Love all the detail to their pieces.

Straight up Sufjan

I went to the Sufjan concert here in gorgeous Seattle, and it offered me an experience I've never had before. He started the concert with Seven Swans which was fabulous. The concert was mostly comprised of his latest CD (Age of Adz) and EP (all delighted people), but after the 5 minute long encore he came back out and played some of his classics that everyone loves. I never realized how much of his songs carry the message of the gospel in them. Besides the splendor of his band, which included two drummers and a guest appearance of DM Stith who played as the opener, the visual effects of the show were amazing. behind the band was a giant projector that projected abstract images. in front of the band was a see through screen that projected another abstract image that correlated with the projector in the back to make the image appear three dimensional and going through the band. it was an acid trip to say the least.
